We never give up helping our children - Our Most Precious Resource
Main Body

I am writing this a day late because yesterday was so exhausting. We were awake @ 7:00 to dress and pack then breakfast
@ 7:30 - pancakes -banana and regular-yum! The girls then had class on Plankton and Aunt Cindy and I cleaned the bunk house.
We said our good-byes to Pigeon Key @ 10:15 and boarded the ferry to Marathon. We made a quick road trip to cross the 7 mile bridge
or 6.92 as the girls learned.

We then headed to Ft. Lauderdale and our 3 hr trip took us about 6 hours because we kept stopping at all the neat places along the way. We went souvenir shopping and we stopped at a fruit stand and tasted passion fruit - a first for all of us, mango, papaya, coconut, and then we all had smoothies. We purchased a watermelon to have for breakfast the next day. The girls were complimented in every store we went in. The owners all told me how well-behaved they were.

We checked into our hotel on the beach and it was gorgeous! We were on the 16 and 17 floors and had balconies with city views and ocean views. The girls were really impressed. The girls wanted to dress-up for dinner in their new dresses and high heels so we did. We went to a very fancy restaraunt, Casablancas, and the girls had steaks. It was yummy and they were very well behaved and used their best manners. After dinner, we headed back to the room for journaling and bed. We were all exhausted and most fell asleep writing in their journals!

Another great day we all had,
